Why it is important use different kinds of transportation rather than the automobile?

             In our society is important to travel in a safety form and fast because our civilizations is advancing every day more and more. That’s way is important to travel from one place to another because there are jobs that require that people move from one place to another, but by the excessive use of the automobile we are damaging our planet slowly in an irreversible way. Our climate is very sensible, a small change in the temperature of our planet can be so disastrous. The gases that an automobile produce are the responsible for the global warming. The use of the bicycle, and public transportation are some actions that we can take to decrease our production of carbon dioxide.

         The automobile is a form of transportation that is so dangerous to our planet and unfortunately is an important part of our lives. “The combustion of fossil fuels such as gasoline and diesel to transport people is the second largest source of Carbon dioxide emissions, accounting for about 31% of total U.S. CO2 and 26% of total greenhouse gas emissions in 2013” (EPA united states environmental protection agency). The use of the bicycle is the most logic solution for this. In a city a bicycle is a way of transportation that is faster and less dangerous because with a lot of traffic in the streets a bicycle can take you to a place faster than an automobile. Also the use of the bicycle is healthy for the people because we are burning calories and traveling at the same time. Walking is the same as healthier as using the bicycle. This alternative can be used to travel small distances, instead of use the automobile to go to the store or to the park you can got walking, by doing that you will be enjoying a combination of exercise, traveling, and a beautiful view of the city.

          Public transportation is another way to reduce our production of carbon dioxide. Public transportation can take little longer than the automobile but as people says “it’s better late than never”. Also, it helps to decrease the number of accidents that Dali happen on our city reducing the number of fatalities. We have to star to think in a different way to make work an automobile without using fossil fuels. Using natural energy such as the sun light will be a good solution. Solar energy isn’t bad for our planet and is a source of energy so powerful that we can use.

                It has been argued that public transportation such as the busses, trains, and airplanes contributes by producing carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. However, public transportation is a better option because a single bus, train, or airplane can transport more than 50 persons in once. “Also, buses emit 80% less carbon monoxide than the average car, switching to public transit can also have huge impact in the gasoline use. If Americans used public transportation for just 10% of their daily travel needs, the us would reduce its dependence on imported oil by more than 40%” (allpointstransit.com)

                                Our daily transportation is so important for us but not necessarily we have to use the automobile in our daily lives for everything. There are some alternatives that we can use instead of the automobile. The use of the bicycle and public transportation are two ways that helps to reduce our production of carbon dioxide. Also, by doing that we are improving in another areas; for example, we are saving fuels combustibles and spending less money on our transportation. Those solutions are easy steps that we must follow in order to decrease our dependence in the automobile.

Global warming

                     Cities are the place in where there are the highest concentration of people. In the cities people need supplies and services to have a good life. One of many services and probably the one who’s the most responsible of the global warming is the transportation. Transportation plays a big roll on this day to the society. Also the use of the electricity is very common on our daily lives. People use electricity for everything; we use electricity while we are working, in our homes and schools; in fact, our life’s will be so hard without electricity and transportation, but by using those services we are causing a big damage to our planet. Deforestation is a factor that helps to the global warming. global warming is an issue that not all the people know and not all the people caress but is a nightmare that is turning into reality.

                By abusing in the use of the automobile we are causing an irreversible damage to our planet. Every time that we use any kind of transportation that works with gasoline we are sending gases that are toxics for any kind of life in the earth. The gas that the automobile releases to the atmosphere is called “carbon dioxide”. Carbon dioxide is considered a greenhouse gas. The greenhouse gasses make a layer that keep the heat that the earth receive from the sun, keeping it trapped in the atmosphere increasing the temperature in our planet affecting all the ecosystems and in a worst case causing a climate change that will lead to a massive extinction of plants and animals. We can contribute to prevent the global warming. There are different kind of transportation may help to reduce the quantity of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. The bicycle is a way of transportation that is fast and healthy for us, walking is a good alternative, and the use of the public transportation too.

                The use of electricity is vital on our daily lives. We are so dependents on the electricity that we cannot live without her. On the proses of making electricity we have to use in many cases fossil fuels to produce it. By doing that we are producing gases that contaminate the earth and that increase the temperature of our planet. There are ways to make electricity without contaminating; use the sun power is a way to make clean electricity because the sun light is a natural source of energy. Deforestation contribute in a big way too. Trees and plants are the source of oxygen and the only consumers of carbon dioxide but every year the levels of carbon dioxide is increasing because every time there are less trees to consume it.

 

                      now people is more aware of issues that are insignificant and they are forgetting that there are problems in our planet that must be solve before its too late. We have to change our life style in order to stop global warming. Global warming is an issue that is concern for all the population, and together we have fixed in order to live a better life and to conserve our planet the way it is for our future generations.

 

Rainforest vs Desert

                   The planet earth is the only planet with life in the solar system. Earth has a great diversity of ecosystems in where different kind of animals and plants live. The rain forest and the desert are ecosystems that are the opposite. The rain forest is an ecosystem rich in animals and plants because the water and food are abundant. Unlike the rainforest; the desert is an ecosystem in where the food and water are more difficult to find because the temperatures are extremely high during day and very low during the night, and the desert is an arid place. The animals and plants that live in the rainforest and desert have special adaptations that allows them to survive.

                     Rainforests are very dense, warm and wet. They are heavens for millions of plants. This ecosystem is extremely important in the ecology of the earth because the plants of the rainforest generate much of the earth’s oxygen. Most of the plants are large trees and ivy but vegetation can become dense at ground level near hillsides; those plants are adapted to live in a wet and hot environment. Approximately 25% of the worlds medicine is derived from rainforest plants. Different from the rainforest vegetation the plants of the desert have adapted to extreme temperature and to the aridity to the land by using physical and behavioral mechanisms. Most of the plants are succulent such as cacti or rock plants; for example, by survive dry spells by accumulating moisture in their fleshy tissues. They have shallow roots to capture soil t water and by presenting columnar growth with leafless, vertically erected and green trunks. Both ecosystems have plants that can’t be found in another place on the planet only in those ecosystems.

                       Even though tropical rainforest covers less than 6 percent of the earth’s surface, this ecosystem has at least half of the animal species of the planet earth. The reason there are so many animals living in the Rainforest is that the conditions are optimal for survival. Common characteristics found among mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians include adaptations to a life in the trees. Animals are always in danger of being eaten and have developed many methods of protecting themselves from hungry animals. Camouflage is a way of hiding which the animal blends into its environment. Poisonous animals openly advertise their defense methods, usually with bright colors and flashy patterns. The animals that live in the Desert usually have special adaptations that allow them to survive the extreme temperatures. It can be hot or cold. A camel can drink very large amounts of water in one day or survive for a long time without drinking any water. Birds and large mammals can scape critical dry by migrating along the desert or into the mountains. Many rodents, invertebrates, and snakes avoid heat by spending the day in caves and searching out for during the night. Some animals get all the water they need from insects, bulbs, and seeds they eat. Both ecosystems have animals that developed tactics to survive.

                   The rainforest is as important as the desert because both ecosystems have a great diversity of plants and animals. Overpopulation and pollution are the responsible for the destruction on the Desert and the Rainforest each year. The human king has to start to protect the environment because in the future there will not be Rainforest or Desert for the next generation. When a animal gets exiting, it be gone forever.

THE CAUSES OF POLLUTION

             There is only one planet in the universe capable to sustain life. The earth is the only planet with life. The human kind is the specie who’s ruling and destroying the planet. The pollution of the planet is one of the biggest problems that the human kind is facing. Pollution is the process of making the environment dirty or non-suitable. Big cities have the bigger and worst problem of pollution because they have a big concentration of people. The biggest problem is that people don’t realize that this is the only planet with life in the universe that the human knows, and we are making it non suitable for life. Water pollution, overpopulation, and the use of car are the causes of pollution.

            Water pollution is a cause of pollution because we are making the water non suitable to use. People contaminate water when they are taking showers because people uses different kind of products like conditioner, shampoo, and a lot of different products to make the hair and body clean and beautiful, but in exchange we are contaminating the water. A solution will be that people start to think in the environment first, and don’t contaminate the water with those products. Fabrics contaminate the water too. They throw waste and trash to the rivers, and lakes making the water unclean. We have to start thinking that water is very important to us and the water can’t be renew.

           Overpopulation is another cause of pollution. The population is getting bigger every year, and will continue rising. In fact with the overpopulation people needs to produce more supplies as an effect we are wasting our natural resources so fast. In fact people need more services such as electricity, and clean water. A solution for this problem could be a decrease of child born. The use of solar energy to produce electricity is a good solution, and many cities in the world are starting to implement this way of produce electricity.

                      The last cause of pollution is the use of a car. Every time that we use a car. We are contaminating the atmosphere because the car engine produce a gas that make the air non suitable to the humans, and to those who consume oxygen to live. In the cities people use the car to everywhere, and the produce of carbon dioxide every time is bigger. The pollution is not only problem that the use of car produce. When we use a car we are wasting natural resources such an oil, gasoline, and water. A reasonable solution must be that in order to use a car to travel thru the city people must walk. The use of the bicycle is important too because we ca travel faster than walking and at the same time we are doing exercise. Lastly the use of public transport may help to decrease the pollution.

              People have to act fast, and make a solution in order to prevent pollution. That’s why before you use your car, waste our natural resources and procreate a lot of family think that this planet will be for the next generation, and if we destroyed won’t be future to the next generation.
